In February 2019, the New England Patriots played in their ninth Superbowl.  Since 2000, the Patriots have proven to be the ultimate NFL dynasty.  But the one constant in 19 years has been the head coach, Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.

The head coach/quarterback relationship isn’t new.  Before the Patriots dynasty there was the Chuck Noll/Terry Bradshaw, Tom Landry/Roger Staubach, John Madden/Ken Stabler, and of course Vince Lombardi/Bart Starr.  What’s interesting to note is that there was a day, somewhere in their past, that two strangers saw each other on the practice field for the first time.  From that first meeting, something happened that bonded the coach and quarterback into a winning team.

That’s what me and my strategic coaching partner Margi Bush and I would like to share with you over the next 14 days.  What can The Boss do to create a winning partnership with not just one employee, but their entire team.  To help you with that, we created a model which we call The Road to Rapport.

As The Boss, you have the responsibility to build a winning team but that only begins when rapport is established.  There are 14 steps to get there and each one must be followed.  If you commit to this process, the end result will be the kind of workplace relationships that are bonded in trust and lead to high performance. We are excited to share these tools with you and look forward to you achieving amazing results!
