This program fits nicely with our Art of Being a Great Boss masterclass and will enable employees and managers to have better rapport and be more effective at getting results.
This program will be delivered live virtually and facilitated by Mack Munro. You will have an opportunity to chat with him before your sessions to address any nuances of the group and get a chance to ask them any questions.
This program is modularized and delivered over 12, one-hour sessions. The sessions are recorded so participants can go back and review. Each participant receives a workbook, two assessments, and access to our interactive MIRO board.

Session 1: How to Take Charge of Your Career Development
All of us know what a job is but have you really taken the time to think about a career? If not, then this session is for you. Career plans are necessary if you want to live a professional life that is rewarding, productive, and done with purpose. Your career plans reflect YOU and you’ll need to put in the hard work to define it.

Session 2: How to Manage Your Boss
We look at our managers for guidance, advice, and direction. Did you know that YOU have some responsibility for managing your boss? This session will give you a better understanding of the four core personality traits all human beings possess. You can use this information to build better rapport and communication with your boss.

Session 3: How to Deal with Conflict and Difficult People
Conflict happens when what we want is not what we are currently experiencing. It’s often caused by people we deem as “being difficult.” Very few people wake up each day wanting to be as difficult as possible. Often, it’s a simple lack of self-awareness that’s the cause.

- Identify behaviors that are “difficult.”

Session 4: How to Get Results Without Authority
Without formal or positional power, you might feel unable to get what you and your team need to be successful. It may be hard to believe, but most of us have massive amounts of untapped power and influence that we either under-use or don’t use at all.

Session 5: How to Solve Problems and Make Decisions Like a Boss
All of us have experienced inconveniences, service breakdowns, and poor quality. It’s always easy to blame people, but in most cases, these problems come from process problems. Solving them is the key to better productivity, satisfaction, and personal credibility. This course will show participants how to approach problems systematically and solve them decisively.

Session 8: How to Communicate When Understanding is Critical

Whether our customers are internal or external, they affect how successful we, our department, and our organization can be. This course will show participants how to apply simple but effective techniques to provide better internal or external customer service.

Session 11: How to Succeed in a Multi-Generational Workplace
One today’s biggest communication barriers is the gap between generations. Today there are potential five generations working together, and each brings unique challenges. The key to overcoming this is the knowledge and understanding of what each generation brings to the organization.

This final session will give you practical strategies to keep yourself effective, healthy, and balanced.
