Hey, I know it was just a couple of days ago. I reached out to you, but I wanted to just check in one more time. If you didn’t read my last email, go ahead and click here and you can read it on the website and then please, if you like what you read at the bottom and click the link.

So anyway, last week I had some time in between workshops when I house and dog sat for my daughter, so I thought I would do some personal and somewhat professional development, so I started watching a lot of pottery videos because my wife and I are doing some together.  She uses the wheel to throw pots and cups.  I do sculpting and hand building.  We are going to do some projects together too.

I also did some research on ChatGPT. One of the things I had on my list to do was to come up with a couple of new topics that I would use when I do talks to the HR conferences. The ones I normally use are getting stale, so we came up with two new topics. Just for fun, I used the ChatGPT app on my iPhone to come up with 190 and 150 word course descriptions along with detailed learning objectives. In a matter of seconds, it put it together.  Now I didn’t use it word for word, but it was damn close to whatever I would’ve chosen if I was trying to figure it out for myself. It helped me craft outlines for the programs.  Hopefully, they get selected.

But after a while, I started thinking about how easy it was. If I’m able to do that easy, why couldn’t anybody do it? But, if anybody could do it, would they be able to deliver it the way I could?  From what I read, AI can do voices too.  And that’s when I realize that, even if a person uses AI, at least, in the immediate future, the human elements shouldn’t be forgotten. I’m wondering if maybe now is the time to really develop our human-ness?

If you are somebody who finds this intriguing but also really needs help to become an amazing HR professional, a self-aware and motivated manager, or somebody who just wants to be a better version of whatever role, I invite you to stay with us on this journey.

You will occasionally get emails promoting some of our products and workshops, but you’ll only get these very personal emails if you click here. This may be the last time I do an open invite. But if you think these are valuable for anybody that you know, please forward this link to them so they can be part of our community. And then we’ll figure out what it looks like and what we’re gonna call it I’m excited to continue the journey with you.

But if you’re like “wow, this is too much and I think I’m done,” hey, I’m good with that too.  I won’t send you anymore.

I hope you’re in.
