You do it for fun, but what about when it has to be professional? If so, here are a few tips:
- Why Are You Taking It? If you want to show yourself having fun and being a real person, fine. Just be sure you still look professional.
- Use a good camera. Or should I say phone? Most of us use the phone so be sure you have the right filters and settings.
- Check your background. Strangers might not want to be in the background of your LinkedIn picture. Nor do you want something else that’s inappropriate in the background.
- Take several shots. You won’t notice flaws until it’s too late.
